Their stories are accompanied by equally fabulous portraits specially created for the book by ten exceptional New Zealand-based illustrators- Ant Sang, Bob Kerr, Daron Parton, Elliot O'Donnell (aka Askew One), Fraser Williamson, Michel Mulipola, Neil Bond, Patrick McDonald, Toby Morris and Zak Waipara. Lucy's Review:

Fifty epic NZ men join the fifty epic NZ women from this year's fabulous Go Girl by Barbara Else. We have been flooded with books about incredible women this year - and we'd put Go Girl right at the top of that list - not just because it is about NZ women, but because it is so beautifully written and illustrated. And Oh Boy is right at the top of the books about awesome men for the same reasons.

Ten exceptional New Zealand-based illustrators - Ant Sang, Bob Kerr, Daron Parton, Elliot O'Donnell (aka Askew One), Fraser Williamson, Michel Mulipola, Neil Bond, Patrick McDonald, Toby Morris and Zak Waipara - have done an amazing job illustrating short biographies of men like comedians Jermaine Clement & Bret McKenzie, dancer Neil Ieremia, artists Ralph Hotere and Colin McCahon, surgeon Swee Tan - as well as the more commonly "biographied" Richie McCaw and Jonah Lomu.

A great book for ages 4-10.
